Dear Residence / Business Owners:
We are writing to you because you are a valued member of our community and we need your help. It has been brought to the Chamber's attention by some visitors to our area and by some of you that, although the appearance of the downtown area has greatly improved, a few of out residents are loitering and behaving in rude and unacceptable ways. There are reports that pet owners are not using doggie bags for their pets, litter has been dropped on the streets, foul and loud language has been heard publicly. Drugs are being sold openly in the community. These behaviors are not conductive to business nor do they enhance property values, not to mention the health, safety, and quality of life of our residents and visitors.
We all share a pride in our village. Please join other concerned residents, business and property owners and public officials by sharing suggestions that have worked for you or new ideas that might work for everybody.
The Chamber would be glad to take your recommendations so we can pass them on to make our community safe and healthy for all. The total effort does not cost money. The Chamber's goal is to attract new residents and businesses to our community. Together we are a great resource.
